Prof James Burrell
Prof Burrell is a Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Cognitive Neurology at Macquarie University, with subspecialty expertise in cognitive and behavioural neurology. He established a Young Onset Dementia clinic and leads research into atypical dementias. He also treats both common and rare neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, and neuromuscular conditions. He is highly skilled in clinical neurophysiology, including nerve conduction studies and EMG. Prof Burrell is also a dedicated educator and mentor, with extensive publications in leading neurology journals.
Educational Dinner Meeting held on the 11th August 2026
The dinner was held at Lakeside Hotel and was well attended. The lucky door prize was drawn by Assoc Professor Patricia Hullah from MQ Health and the prize was won by Alison Douglas also from MQ Health. The event was sponsored by MQ Health.
