Professor James Burrell will speak on the topic: Young onset dementia in the age of anti-amyloid therapies

Biography
Prof Burrell is a Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Cognitive Neurology at Macquarie University, with subspecialty expertise in cognitive and behavioural neurology. He established a Young Onset Dementia clinic and leads research into atypical dementias. He also treats both common and rare neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, and neuromuscular conditions. He is highly skilled in clinical neurophysiology, including nerve conduction studies and EMG. Prof Burrell is also a dedicated educator and mentor, with extensive publications in leading neurology journals.
